--- The Docu-Series Synopsis ---
THE NODEY PROCESS (PARIS, SHANGHAI, SAIGON) is a three-episode web docu-series that captures how French-Vietnamese music producer Nodey leverages on his cultural roots and new artistic aspirations to reinvent his creative journey.
In the midst of an identity crisis, Nodey decides to leave the Paris region where he has always lived for one of his obsessions: the Asian continent. Between Paris, Shanghai and Saigon, his nomadic lifestyle enables him to compose his first solo album ":-)".
This process highlights several intertwined stories: a sound engineer who frees himself from the impostor syndrome to assert himself as an artist in his own right, a son of immigrants who reconnects with the land of his ancestors, or an emerging Asian continent that aims at asserting on the top of the global pop scene.
--- The Nodey Process: Leaving Paris ---
After ten years producing for the Parisian rap scene and one Gold Disk earned with French-Congolese rapper Youssoupha, Nodey feels that he has arrived at the end of a cycle. His artistic ambitions have evolved, in both his artistic career management and more “electro-oriented” music universe. Coming across Chinese artist Tianzhuo Chen’s extravagant collective Asian Dope Boys changes his journey: he decides to leave rap, France, and his sedentary lifestyle, to explore China with no turning-back.
Moe The Mōs creatively follows the transformation of Miami Photographer Rayna DaSant, as she is activated by the racially motivated murders of several unarmed Black people in 2020.
This is the pilot of a web series entitled "All Across Town" (AAT). AAT is a video community guide showcasing local businesses and organizations. The series is designed to promote the community and to expand network opportunities.
