No Holmes Barred!

America’s first serial killer, H.H. Holmes, took advantage of the chaotic, city-wide bustle from the fair's setup, and—quite literally—set-up shop in plain sight. Against all odds (and probably a few zoning laws), he built a block-wide hub, a living monument to his endless greed and ruthlessness. The first floor housed his crooked businesses. The second and third floors housed much darker intentions...

From Baltimore's one-time Jeopardy champion and two-time Jeopardy loser, Daniel Ciarrocchi, comes a nine-episode, dark-humored, old-timey radio-show based on a story that's both uniquely American, and too absurd for fiction. Human zoos. Runaway, killer bobsleds. Exploding buildings. The Liberty Bell, but it’s made out of oranges. Political assassinations. Pabst Blue Ribbon.

And, of course, an actual M u r d e r c a s t l e.
