Terechkova (the first woman to fly in space), now finds herself missing an arm. Forced to spend the next few weeks in a rehabilitation center for young amputees, Mathilde will be confronted with the various stages of rehabilitation, before finally learning to thrive despite her handicap. Mathilde, une adolescente de 17 ans passionnée par l’astronautique, est victime d’un accident en essayant de bricoler un prototype de fusée artisanale. Celle qui avait pour objectif de devenir la prochaine Valentina Terechkova (la première femme à effectuer un vol dans l’espace) se retrouve désormais amputée d’un bras.
